APRICITY

The curvature of smile lines
That rest upon your cheek
Every hair that falls in place
The shape of your physique
I lose my breath as I take it in
I'm left no air to speak
Enfolded in your gentle arms
My heart and legs grow weak
From the moment I met your gaze
You swept me off my feet
And I still stay above the clouds
So far aloft the peaks
The sounds of sighs that counter mine
Leave me lost in reverie
The simple chime of melodies divine
A noise so captivating to me
Once stone cold, I slowly thaw
Your warm touch like apricity
And when you press your kiss to mine
The taste, it lingers sweet
