Bliss City
In your arms
Every time you start to kiss me
I pace out my breaths
I brace for my death
As the clouds beneath my feet release me
In your arms
Every time you start to kiss me
I pace out my breaths
I brace for my death
As the clouds beneath my feet release me
I fall without warning
It feels just like soaring
Until I worry the end may be near
But the air feels so sweet
As does your hand to my cheek
So I just fall- and pray to make it ‘til morning
It feels just like soaring
Until I worry the end may be near
But the air feels so sweet
As does your hand to my cheek
So I just fall- and pray to make it ‘til morning
And morning does come
I wake to the warmth of the sun
To your touch
To the smell of fresh coffee
To the heat of your hands
Hot like dry summer sand
Yet I get chills when you trace my skin softly
I wake to the warmth of the sun
To your touch
To the smell of fresh coffee
To the heat of your hands
Hot like dry summer sand
Yet I get chills when you trace my skin softly
The existence of time
Oft removed from my mind
As we lay intertwined on your couch
But the clock still persists
Despite our resistance
And with swift motion
We are back at a distance
Oft removed from my mind
As we lay intertwined on your couch
But the clock still persists
Despite our resistance
And with swift motion
We are back at a distance
