BUOY

If you're a buoy floating free in the sea
I'm a speed boat that flies ‘til it crashes
Drowning slow into the ocean below
Polluting the sea with my wreckage and ashes
You are a stoic, calm and heroic
And I'm a live wire that cannot be tamed
You take the high road and let life come by
While I shock every soul in my way
I can't read your mind
And that thought consumes mine
And I'm left to over analyze your movements
And I'll catastrophize
Until I realize
That I cannot control or improve it
If you are diver falling free from the sky
I'm a plane that is off course its passage
Spinning out, and hitting the ground
Exposing to you all of my baggage
