Please-
Do not feel contempt for me
For that is the knife that would kill
If you fall out of love
I will forgive
If you love someone new
I will forgive
But to hold me close and near
Whilst you mock with hidden sneers
Look to me as below you
As I proudly meet your gaze
That would swell inside my soul
And erupt into a rage
So let me go warmly
If I can't impress you
If you don't love me
You truly don't have to
But, it's cruel to deprive me
Of a love I want deeply
So if you don't feel it
